難以置信的驚喜 之二

關於自己的卡片，Helen曾經寫過難以置信的驚喜和超級幸運的卡片兩篇文章，這次要寫第三篇，不過想不出更勁爆的標題，姑且用「難以置信的驚喜之二」吧！

網路上關於藝術印章與手工卡片的網站與部落格，用網海茫茫來形容應該不為過！兩年前因為妹妹送了本Paper Crafts雜誌，Helen因而逛到了Paper Crafts Connection和Moxie Fab World兩個部落格，也啟發了Helen對簡潔風的興趣！

這兩大網站每天固定更新，且提供很多有幫助的資訊。他們舉辦的各種挑戰，Helen也參加過很多次，不過一直無法獲得評審青睞，直到今年十月才以一張超燦爛謝卡得到Trigger Target！

而這次所謂的「難以置信的驚喜之二」，是因為上圖這張簡單的卡片竟獲得Paper Craft Connection的11月紙膠帶挑戰的三張得獎作品之一！哇哇哇！說不開心是騙人的！這次的獎品沒有電子獎章，而是實質的獎品 – Paper Crafts雜誌一年！哇！能夠同時得到精神與物質的獎賞，真是一大樂事！

無獨有偶(更難以置信)，在Moxie Fab World網站，這張卡也獲得青睞！格主是Paper Crafts Magazine的趨勢編輯(Trend Editor) Cath
Edvalson，在她11月30日的Out
& About in the Moxie Fab World這篇文章中，她介紹了十張她青睞的卡片，其中「A
trendy Christmas card
that uses washi tape to create a fun skyline.」
正是Helen的這張卡片，哇哇哇！說不開心也是騙人的！Helen甚至有些輕飄飄的感覺呢！

總之，創作本身就是愉悅的，而能得到同好的欣賞，那不僅是人生一大樂事，也是一大美事！

這張卡片實在是非常簡單，也無啥學問！不過卻花了Helen些時間才完成，有些哭笑不得！
 
創作動機出自下面這張照片(Runway Inspired Challenge ric#23 – Chanel)！

           

這是張很迷人的照片，不是嗎？從看到第一眼，Helen就利用短暫空檔時間反覆想，該如何詮釋這張照片，不過在截稿前仍無太大進展，勉強擠出這張卡片！唉！這就是為什麼很多人認為Clean & Simple風格(CAS)是相當挑戰的原因了！Helen非常同意啊！

Smile, Love, Giggle – Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger Frame by Frame

This card was inspired by current Moxie Fab World, Tuesday Trigger Frame by Frame as shown below!

         

I was fascinated by the various elements shown on the photo like frames, color scheme, bird, butterfly, shabby text background and so on!

It’s Your Day! Celebrate!(剩餘紙之利用)

這張卡的創作靈感來自下面這張圖，是Stampin Royalty #150的挑戰！由於參加的同好不多，Helen獲選為Top Picks，榮幸但有些勝之不武！ 

         

一直以來Helen就非常喜歡鮮豔明亮的色彩，直到接觸復古風格後，在顏色運用上才開始收歛些！這張照片的蓬勃生氣，喚起Helen對鮮豔熱情顏色的喜愛，也讓人在最近陰暗濕霾的天氣中能夠心情為之開朗！希望你也能感受到！

I have to say that the color scheme and elements were inspired by the photo of Fantasy in Fall. I further incorporated cork and alphabet stickers so that I could also enter the other two challenges of Moxie Fab World!

When I tried to place alphabet stickers on the cork, I incidentally found that the cork was kind of resisting the stickiness of alphabet stickers! I ended up adding some Glossy Accents behind the alphabet stickers to make them more secured on cork!

I used several DIY patterned paper stashes which are over one year (Oh my!) and the text stamp was from 2012 Stampin’ Up SAB free set which is definitely an amazing deal!

Thinking of You 魔卡挑戰 # 73 -- 烙印技法 (或稱仿金屬(Faux Metal)技法)

這次魔卡挑戰的主題是烙印技法，和一般通稱的仿金屬(Faux Metal)技法概念是一致的，最大差別在於使用的燙凸粉種類，若為金屬系列如金銀銅等，則稱為仿金屬，其他燙凸粉則泛稱烙印！

Holiday Season ~ Partial Dry Emboss (2) 局部浮雕技法

這張卡和前一張卡都是利用Tim Holtz/Sizzix EMBOSSING DIFFUSERS做出局部浮雕的效果，這張只有圓圈部分有浮雕紋路，而前張卡則是圓圈外面有浮雕紋路。哈！真是佩服手藝人的創意啊！也很高興手上的浮雕片又有更多玩法了！

Cristina used Reversed Making in her card while I combined Simple Masking with Reverse Masking for these three cards which are in fact postcards!

Thinking of You At Christmas ~ Water Stamping Technique (以水蓋印技法)

 

Water Stamping技法(或稱Stamping with Water)，就是以水蓋印，Helen在2010年Tim大師的著作A compendium of Curiosities中看到。看起來蠻簡單的，但Helen嘗試過多次都失敗！相當挫折，因為都是按著步驟做，卻不了解失敗的原因，因此將此技法束之高閣！  

十月初在Hero Arts官網上看到一張Tami Hartley的Water Stamping的作品(詳此)，很美，忍不住想再試一次！嘿！這次竟然成功了(自己認為)！ 

這張卡的背景，隱約的螺旋圓圈紋就是Water Stamping的效果，雪花是用白色油墨印台蓋上，字章則是白色燙凸，因此雖然只有一層卡紙，視覺上看來卻有三層，個人相當喜歡！大家覺得如何呢？
