I wanted to practice Velveteen Technique (or White Ink Resist Technique) again and I combined the elements of the following challenges into this card.
1. ColorQ Challenge #235
2. Freshly Made Sketches # 130
3. The Card Concept #7 – Use a Butterfly Theme
I would say this card style is Classy and Elegant. For definition, please check out here.
The subtle and trendy Tweed pattern really added visual textures to the flowers and I am happy with the result!
Card Details
1.All stamps are by Hero Arts. Text die is by Simon Says Stamp. Wood grain embossing folder is by Cuttlebug.
2.I also applied Faux Stitches to add texture.
3. My previous Velveteen artworks are here, there and there.
Nice combo of challenges! Love the combination of the flower panel and wood background for that pretty butterfly. And I really like the placement of the sentiment, too.
