I made this card for a colleague who recently got a baby boy. I am also entering this card to the following challenges:
1. Addicted to Stamps and More #169 - Clean and Simple 2. CAS(E) this Sketch #148 3. Inkspirational Challenge -#95 Anything Goes with Silver Card Details 1. Baby onesie stamp is by Stampin’ Up, texts are by Hero Arts and embossing folder is by Sizzix. 2. The embossed parts are colored using brayer. 3. Texts are heat embossed in silver.
Somehow I tend to make baby cards in Clean and Simple style and this one is no exception. Yet I am pretty sure I will get "Wow" because of the embossing effect. Hope it is eye-pleasing to you. Thanks for stopping by.
It is my pleasure and honor to be invited as Guest Designer for STAMPlorations November Challenge. This month’s theme is Stamps & Newsprint.
As one of the Top Picks of July Challenge, I was awarded three digi stamps of STAMPlorations. I am using Framed Butterflies and Surprise text digi stamps for my card.
Card Details 1. The butterflies and text digi stamps are by STAMPlorations. The background newsprint stamp and stencil are by Hero Arts. 2. Butterflies are colored by Copic markers. 3. To get a sophisticated look with textures, I applied Cracked Glass technique for the butterfly panel. The following picture shows a closer look of the cracked glass effect.
Please join us for the fun. The interpretations of the theme (Stamps & Newsprint) are endless. Please check out STAMPlorations Blog for all the details.

It is a 3-day long weekend here in Taiwan and I am so blessed to have been able to make artworks three days in a row. After making a super CAS card yesterday, I challenged myself to make a quite sophisticated-looking one and this tag is what I made today. Boy, I am in a heaven.
I am entering this tag to the following challenges:
Card Details 1. All stamps are by Hero Arts and all stencils are by Tim/Stampers Anonymous. 2. Pumpkins were colored by Copic Markers. 3. I added crackle embossing paste first. After dry, I applied two layers of stenciling then covered the whole tag with some distress inks. I overstamped the newspaper background, making the whole background full of textures as shown below.
4. I added faux stitiches on the side as the final finishing touch.
I feel extremely blessed after making this tag. Hope you like this tag. Thanks for stopping by.
Once in a while I’d like to challenge myself to do a One Layer Card (OLC) and this is what I made today. This Clean & Simple (CAS) card is not as easy as imagined, as I found it quite challenging to align up the stripes.

This is a card for a senior. She likes autumn colors. I I used four colors of the orange family, namely dried marigold, spiced marmalade, rusty hinge and ripe persimmon, for the card. I am entering this card to the following challenges:
1. Stamps are by Hero Arts. Stencil is by Simon Says stamp and die cut is by Tim Holtz/Sizzix. Gold embossing paste is by Wendy Vecchi/Ranger. 2. I die cut the Falling Hearts (by Simon Says) to create my own stencil.
I just came back from a long trip and can’t wait to catch up with more inklings and stampings. Oh, I must say this card is warm and gorgeous, with the family of orange colors and gold tiny hearts. Hope this card is eye-pleasing to you. Thanks for stopping by.
My nephew is going to the best college of his state. I am so proud of him yet quite embarrassed for myself as I just made this belated congratulation card for him. May he enjoy the college journey and have no fear to explore and embrace life.
I will also enter this card to the following challenges:
1. The background stamp is by Hero Arts and the rest are retired stamps of Stampin’ Up. 2. The gold star embellishments are die cuts by Memory Box die. 3. The tiny stars are heat embossed in silver.
Hope this card is eye-pleasing to you. Thanks for stopping by.
This card is 100% stamped. Yes, no play of inks, pastes, powders, stencils, embellishments, heat gun, die cut machine, etc, thanks to Virginia’s challenge – 100% stamped. Well, I did manage to incorporate a technique which is white ink resist. I just hope you are able to see the subtle textured canvas background through flowers and leaves.
If you like this tag, please drop me a note. Thanks.
Edited on 7/18/2015 This tag was chosen as one of the three Challenge Favorites by Tag You're It Challenge. Thank you again, DTs. Yay, you made my day!
Edited on 9/5/2015 This tag was also chosen as one of the four Top Picksby Stamplorations July Challenge. Wow, thank you, DTs. This is double excitements!
After making yesterday’s Starry Night card, I can’t help making another one with a twist. The starry night consists of heat embossing stars in silver and droplets of perfect pearls water. I must say the sky is gorgeously sparkling and shining.
We got an unexpected typhoon holiday here in Taipei today. Benefitting from this, I was able to make a card. Ha! This is also the first time in my life that I made a Christmas card in a typhoon day.
Card Details 1. The stamp is by Hero Arts and the die is by Memory Box. 2. I applied distress inks (Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, Broken China, Faded Jeans and Weathered Wood) in the background and splashed droplets of Perfect Pearls water to mimic the starry night. The droplets are shining and very pretty.
