I was excited to play with my new toy, Altenew’s Craft Your Life Project Kit- Elegant Motifs and was inspired by the color scheme of Altenew’s January Challenge.

I applied Wink of Stella (clear) to make the flower sparkle and pop. Hope this card is eye-pleasing to you. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Happy 2022. It’s time to play along with Happy Little Stampers Stencil Challenge again. The January Challenge Theme remains to be Anything  Goes.

This month I’m playing double-layer stenciling again. I challenged myself to create a wedding card with rainbow color scheme. 

The card is for an artsy friend who recently got married. I’m so happy for her. Hope my card is eye-pleasing to you. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Card Details

1. Apply various Distress Oxide Inks over heart stencil (Simon Says Stamp) on a card panel.

2. Sponge coordinating Distress Oxide Inks on card panel.

3. Apply Embossing Paste (Ranger, Wendy Vecchi) over heart stencil on previously-stenciled background panel. Let dry.

4. Die cut Champaign Glasses (Tim Holtz, Sizzix). Cover the glass center with Diamond Stickles (Ranger). Let dry.

5. Stamp the sentiment (Tim Holtz, Stampers Anonymous) in black. 

6. Assemble the card as shown.

Altenew: A Year in Review - My Favorite Handmade Cards, Layouts, Home Decor, etc

Hi Artsy Friends,

Altenew is no doubt a favorite stamping company of mine. In 2021, I made 30+ projects using Altenew products. It’s difficult to choose just one favorite because I love all the projects I made just like a mother loves all her children.

I finally decided to showcase the following four projects because they received praises from Altenew professionals. Thank you, Altenew, for offering A Year in Review Blog Hop and a chance to win gift certificates.
