Hello Friend

This card is inspired by the following challenges:

1. Virginia's View Challenge #18 Geometric Patterns

2. The Mixed Media Card Challenge #15 {Friendship}

3. Take It & Make It Challenge – Take a Stamp

4. Hero Arts Makeover Challenge
My old project as inspiration is the card below which I personally love a lot. I substituted the big pom pom flower with two flowers and added white embossing paste on the card base. The original card has been well liked by blog friends as it is among the top 10 popular posts.

5. Mixed Media World MMW'#6- Gorgeous Textures

6. Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - MAKE IT COLORFUL
The beautiful colors made me happy.

Card Details

The triangle stencil is by The Crafter’s Workshop. All others (stamps & stencil) are by Hero Arts.

This card has lots of white spaces yet is full of textures. I am fascinated by this kind of Clean & Simple mixed media style. How about you?

Thanks for stopping by. Wish you a great week ahead.

Happy Retirement

I made this card for a senior who is going to retire very soon from my bank!

I am also entering this card to the following challenges:

2.Moxie Fab World: Happy for Hexagons Challenge

In terms of style, I think my card would fall in the category of Classy and Elegant as my card has shiny finish, rich color scheme, and layered textures.

Card Details

1.Background stamp is by Hero Arts and text stamp is by Stampin’ Up.

2.Stencils (both the hexagon and the flower) are by The Crafter’s Workshop.

3.A thin coat of gesso was applied over the stamped background to create a shabby chic look. Gold Embossing Paste was spread over the flower stencil to get the embossed gold flower.

After the Chinese Lunar New Year, I have been so busy that I haven’t got time to enter any challenges! I am so glad that I managed to made this card not only for a senior but also entered some challenges!

Playing with Gelato and More Stenciling Art

The twelve butterflies are the leftovers from my previous butterfly canvas artwork! Instead of keeping the canvas plain white, I decided to practice the Gelato Drip Technique! Hmm, it worked out quite well!

I thought I could enter this project to Simon Says Stamp’s Current Challenge-Paste. I used stencils to make these 12 butterflies, and some of them used Embossing Paste and Gesso. They definitely all look textured! The following are some close-ups of them!

I think now I am addicted to not only stencil art but also Gelato!

More Stenciling Art –

I have been addicted to Stenciling Art since last year and have been unable to stop!

I have recently utilized twelve stenciling techniques and come up with this butterfly canvas artwork! Oh, I really love it!

I also managed to make twelve tags which correspond to the twelve butterflies so that I will not forget how I made each butterfly!

You’re an 11 – MCC#100 Anything Goes and a Giveaway!

I hope this card’s background technique and card design look mysterious to you because I intended to enter it into Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge – It’s a Mystery! For me, something that I can’t figure it out at first sight is mysterious! Ha!

Gesso

(Lumiere

Gesso

(Alcohol Ink on Other Surfaces)故不方便現在分享。

Gesso

Oxford Impressions

Oxford Impressions

Gesso

1. Gesso剝落法靈感來自Technique Junkie Newsletter 20098月號,Gesso Off。

Stampin Up

Inky Antics

4. Gesso
