Card Details

1. Apply Distress Oxide Ink over stencil (Simon Says Stamp) on a white card panel.

2. Apply Nuvo Glimmer Paste Moonstorm over another stencil (Simon Says Stamp) on the stenciled-background panel and let dry.

3. Die cut a scalloped heart (Stampin’ Up) from the panel.

4. Stamp champagne glasses and text (Hero Arts) using black Archival Ink.

5. Assemble the panel as a Shaker Card and mount to 5 X 6.5 inches white card as shown.

Happy Ever After – Two-Tone Glitter Ritz

Hi Artsy Friends,

I need to make a wedding card for a subordinate. I revisited an old card and made this one. It’s sparkly gorgeous.

In my country, red is a traditional color for wedding event despite that nowadays young people may not follow the tradition. I used it anyway. Hope my card is eye-pleasing to you. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Card Details

1. Stencil is by Simon Says Stamp. Stamp and sentiment are by STAMPlorations.

2. For  more Two-Tone Glitter Ritz cards, please check out my old card. I also applied an old school technique – Faux Metal Technique for the sentiment.

Challenges Entered

I love using dies and stencils in my cards. If I need to choose only one, I’d choose stencil because it’s inexpensive and can be used to stamp, layering, emboss, etc. And you can apply lots of media on it to achieve versatile effects.

The card was chosen as one of the Top 5 Favorites by House of Cards DTs. What a happy surprise! Thanks, DTs.

I made this card for my niece. The wedding will be held in Chicago. Duo to long distance, we won’t be able to attend. I hope this card will express our most sincere wishes to the young couple.

This is the first mixed media CAS wedding card I’ve ever made. I kind of love how it turned out and I truly hope my niece will like it.

Hope this card brings you love and happiness. Thanks for stopping by.
