Edited on 10/11/2021

This card was chosen as a Top 3 by Make My Monday Challenge #157 Autumn/Fall Card and Simply Create Too Challenge #174- Fall Leaves, respectively. What a happy surprise!

Hi Artsy Friends,

Watercolor is not something I’m good at but once in a while I would challenge myself to play/practice with it. This is what I came up with today. It’s very Clean and Simple. Hope it’s eye-pleasing to you. Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day.

Card Details

Leaf and sentiment stamps are by Tim Holtz, Stampers Anonymous. Cross Stitch Canvas die is by Altenew. Watercolor Brush Markers are by ALtenew too.

Challenges Entered

I chose foliage, coloring and brown.

  9. i saw your card on the Tic, Tac, Toe Challenge. I love your watercoloring. It is perfect. Did you color then fussy cut and then adhered to the canvas or is the canvas piece an embossing folder. I love it whichever it is.😊

    1. Hi Shirley, thanks for stopping by and asking. It's a faux canvas piece. You've guessed it right. I achieved the effect via die cutting, namely Altewnew Cross Stitch Canvas Die. Cheers.
