Hi Artsy Friends,
It’s time to play along with Happy Little Stampers (HLS) ATC (Artist Trading Card/Coin) Challenge again. The June Challenge Theme is Christmas. For Challenge Rules and other DTs’ inspirations, please check out the Challenge Blog.
I must confess that I have never made any Christmas cards or ATCs in June before. Ha! I’m glad I gave it a try! Please do join us for the fun.
It’s very hot in Taiwan now. These snowflake ATCs are eye-pleasing to me and cool me down. Hope you feel the same. Thanks for stopping by and wish you a great day.
The following are how I made these ATCs.
ATC Details
1. Apply Direct-to-Paper technique using various Distress Inks to a watercolor panel.
2. Spritz water to blend Distress Inks.
3. Stamp text (Hero Arts) with Black ink on watercolor panel.
4. Apply Nuvo Glimmer Paste over Snowflake stencil (Memory Box) on watercolor panel.
5. When dry, cut watercolor panel into ATC size.
6. Mount the watercolor ATCs to white ATC panels. Stamp texts (Hero Arts) in black on white scrap and in VersaMark and heat emboss in white on black scrap, respectively. Adhere sentiments on ATCs.
